About Ingalill Koinberg

Ingalill Koinberg is assistant professor in care sciences and has previously worked as senior lecturer at Kristianstad University College and Halmstad University College. 

She is a registered nurse since 1982 with specialization in psychiatry, surgery and oncology. She has clinical experience from the three fields and between 1992 and 2002 she established an oncology ward at Varberg hospital. She is part of several research groups within the oncology nursing field. 

Research
Ingalill conducts her research within the oncology nursing field, focusing on person-centred care. She has a special interest in breast cancer and head and neck cancers.

Teaching
Ingalill is responsible for the specialist nursing programme in oncology. 

Clinical experience
Ingalill has an extenisve experience of clinical work. In her current position, she works part time at the oncology clinic at Sahlgrenska university hospital.
